“These candidates are dedicated to protecting the health and privacy of all Wisconsinites,” said Catey Doyle, Chair of the NARAL Pro-Choice Wisconsin PAC. “We are glad to show our strong commitment to electing and re-electing these leaders to the State Assembly.”
NARAL Pro-Choice Wisconsin has a large grassroots constituency, and its membership is already active in working to elect pro-choice candidates around the state. This year alone, NARAL Pro-Choice Wisconsin has doubled its membership, in large part because of the unprecedented threats to reproductive rights posed by anti-choice state legislators.
“These candidates have proven their dedication to preventing unwanted pregnancy, reducing the number of abortions, and ensuring that patients have the information they need to make informed medical choices,” said Kelda Helen Roys, Executive Director of NARAL Pro-Choice Wisconsin. “We cannot afford to give anti-choice extremists in the State Legislature another chance to threaten women’s health and privacy.”
