Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk has been endorsed by NARAL Pro-Choice Wisconsin in her bid for a fourth term as the county government's CEO.

The endorsement was announced Tuesday by NARAL Executive Director Lisa Subeck.

"Kathleen Falk has led the charge to make Dane County a better place for women and families," Subeck said. "Women in Dane County can count on Falk's leadership and strong support of public health and human services to ensure access to reproductive health care, including birth control, quality pre-natal care and prevention of sexually transmitted infections."

Subeck said Falk's challenger, Nancy Mistele, "fails miserably" on women's health care.

"In contrast, Kathleen Falk is a leader and champion for Dane County women," Subeck said.

The election is a week away: on Tuesday, April 7.
