2008 Election Results Congratulations! We elected a pro-choice President, protected our pro-choice majority in the State Senate and elected ten new pro-choice Representatives to the State Assembly. The climate is ripe for introducing and passing proactive pro-choice legislation. Wisconsin State Senate NARAL Pro-Choice Wisconsin protected Wisconsin's pro-choice majority in the State Senate by helping to re-elect the 7 pro-choice Senators who were up for re-election this year. Wisconsin has a pro-choice State Senate 15 pro-choice 7 mixed choice 11 anti-choice Wisconsin State Assembly NARAL Pro-Choice Wisconsin increased our pro-choice gains from 2006 in the State Assembly by protecting the 37 pro-choice Assembly Representatives who were up for re-election this year and helping to elect 10 new pro-choice Representatives to the Assembly. We now have a mixed choice Assembly, a huge change from the anti-choice majority we had last year.
