It was hard enough to come to terms with the rape...

Posted: 02/04/2008

Last summer I became a victim of sexual assault at the work place, and as a result I became pregnant.  To think, you're not scared enough, now you face a decision not everyone understands.  When I found out that I was pregnant, I chose not to continue the pregnancy.  It was hard enough to come to terms with the rape, yet alone an unwanted pregnancy.  I'm very fortunate to have such a supportive family.  With out them, I could not have even afforded the abortion.  If my story can open the eyes to one person or even make people start to rethink our system as a whole, I'm glad I kept fighting.
