Voice for Choice
Join Voice for Choice! RSVP for an upcoming training or sign up for a phone bank (more information below). Two-three times a week, volunteers make phone calls in the NARAL Pro-Choice Wisconsin Madison office. They contact our supporters to ask them to volunteer, contact their elected officials or attend an event. You don't need to have any experience phone banking to be great on the phone. All phone banks take place in our office from 5:30-8:30 PM at 122 State Street, Suite 308, Madison. We have room for four volunteers each night. Phone Bank Schedule: 5:30 PM – Volunteers arrive 5:30-5:45 PM - Orientation, run through the script, snacks 5:45-8:15 PM – Call Time (with short break in the middle) 8:15-8:30 PM – Fill out tally sheets Upcoming Phone Banks: None currently scheduled. Never phone banked before? No problem! At the beginning of every shift, we go over how the phone script, list and answer to frequently asked questions. Read the Phone Bank Volunteer Instructions to get an idea of what phone banking is like. Upcoming phone bank training: (the training is not required.
