Choice Lobby Network Intern
Description: The Choice Lobby Network Intern works to expand the statewide presence of NARAL Pro-Choice Wisconsin by identifying activists in targeted districts, training them and keeping them involved through calls to action, weekly emails and statewide events. Tasks include planning events, leading trainings and developing outreach materials. Responsibilities include: • Recruit and manage CLN members • Send out weekly calls to action to CLN members • Develop a relationship with CLN members • Plan and execute educational and outreach events • Other projects as they fit the intern’s interests and NARAL Pro-Choice Wisconsin’s needs
Qualifications: • Must be fully pro-choice and committed to ensuring all women have access to the full range of reproductive health care including abortion • Outgoing and able to work with a wide variety of people • Excellent writing skills • Self-motivated • Must be able to work efficiently and independently • Comfort working with Microsoft Word and Excel Hours: 10-15 hours per week. Times are flexible with some evening and weekend hours available. Unpaid, but staff will work with intern to obtain college credit.
