June 16 - Volunteer Tabling Training
Volunteer on the weekends during the summer at the Dane County Farmers Market and other fairs and festival (primarily in Madison but some throughout the state). A table at these events enables us to distribute attention grabbing materials and information, and allows us to recruit new members and volunteers. We are holding a training session for volunteers who have never staffed a table before and for volunteers who want to brush up their skills: Tabling Training Tuesday, June 16, 2009 7:00 - 8:00 pm 122 State Street, Suite 308 Can't attend the training? If you can't attend the training but still want to get involved, fill out our online volunteer form. We will contact you when another training is scheduled, to help you sign up for a tabling shift, or for other volunteer opportunities, including helping out in the office, joining our letters-to-the-editor team, and more. |
